 Effective October 1, 2009, East Central Province Polemarch William H. “Bill” Fileds, II, will take on the new role of Director of Project Development for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. This new position, appointed by Grand Polemarch, Dwayne M. Murray, Esq., will entail supervision and development of all projects coordinated through International Headquarters. One of the primary projects will be directing the creation of the Kappa Trail Initiative for the Centennial Program for the “100th Anniversary Grand Chapter Meeting” in 2011. Brother Fields will also coordinate efforts to enhance existing national programs that are based in various national committees such as our National Guide Right and Social Action. Grand Polemarch Murray called the appointment vital to the fraternity’s continued organizational effectiveness and said, “It is important that there be a coordinated, streamlined approach so that we can maximize our work and community contributions.” |
